With every 2 laps swam, Competitors will be receive a rubberband from our volunteers situated at the start of each lanes. These rubberbands will be used to exchange for Lap Gifts. Rubberbands are non-transferable. Anyone caught cheating shall forfeit all their rubberbands.

Are you still thinking of joining Splashdown 2009? It's not just about swimming!

On event day itself, we will be demonstrating simple Lifesaving techniques that anyone can master. We will also be displaying the competitive side to lifesaving where you can view OUR TEAM in action!

Don't worry about being bored inbetween swims, you can always come up for a rest. We will be setting up ARENA and RYDERS stall, where all items will be DISCOUNTED! Take this chance to grab all the good stuff while everyone's busy swimming!

Modes of Registration
(1) Walk-in Registration (Cash payment ONLY)
(2) Point collection in school : Jun Song, Kok Leong, Cheryl, Kenny, Yawen

Registration Procedure
1. There are 2 parts to the registration form.

a. Application section (Form A for individual and Form B for team)

b.Indemnity section

2. Print both sections.

3. Upon registration, only submit the application (form A or B) section, indemnity section is required on the game day itself.
For cash payment, please ensure person collecting the fee has acknowledged payment.

4. During the event day, please bring your indemnity form upon sign-in.
Reminder: Registrants who fail to produce the indemnity form are not allowed to participate in the event.

Event Information

Splashdown is a 3-hour swim event held annually by the NUS University Lifeguard Corps. Participants swim as many laps as they can in exchange for goodies and prizes.

There will be a lifesaving demonstration before the actual event to promote lifesaving as a sport and the importance of water safety. Lifesaving equipment (ropes, board, rescue tube, manikin) will be put up at the wading pool for other people who are taking a break to try out.

Dates: 12th Sept 2009
Time: 10am – 3pm
Price:

OPEN: Swim as many laps as you can in 3 hours and exchange them for lap gifts! Top prizes up for grabs too!

Swimathon: Complete a 100 laps (5km) within 3 hours and get an additional exclusive finishers’ tee! You are still eligible for lap gifts and top prizes

Team: Apprehensive about swimming alone? Feeling lonely? Get some friends to swim together! Take it slow and easy, no rush! It's about having fun!

ALL category comes with a goodie bag and ARENA event tee*. An exclusive ARENA Finisher Tee will be presented to participants under SWIMATHON category upon completion of 100 laps.
